Yoga nidra is deep rest and restoration

Yoga Nidra

Yoga of rest, deep sleep, and body awareness. It is part systematic relaxation and part guided meditation. You follow my voice as I lead you through a mindful body awareness practice that slowly and gently allows your mind to settle into deep theta brain activity. It is restorative to your body and 1 hour of yoga nidra is often equal to 4 hours of sleep.

Tuning forks as vibrational therapy.

Sound Therapy

We are vibration, our breath, our heartbeat, the flow of blood, and the humming of our nervous system. Tuning forks can assist in breaking up disharmony and restoring a clear resonance on a cellular level. The light audible sounds are pleasing to your mind and the vibrations resonate with your tissue. Tuning fork therapy is gentle and pleasantly calming and effective on physical tension.

Reiki healing energy for emotional balance.

Reiki

Reiki is healing energy. As a Reiki practitioner, I assist the flow of energy into your body and gently help guide the flow to release blockages and possibly restore energetic balance. Reiki can work on physical pain as well as emotional discomfort. I focus on clearing chakras and smoothing out your auric field. Reiki often feels warming and comforting.

Meditation helps to calm your mind and become aware of your thought patterns.

Mindfulness. Meditation practice teaches you how to see your thoughts and find space to move through life with more grace and ease. There are many styles of meditation. I can help you find the one that is most comfortable and productive for you: vipassana, mantra, chanting, or guided progressive relaxation like Yoga Nidra. You can learn to meditate.

Breath is life. Pranayama, or regulating your breath with specific techniques, is a fantastic way to calm your mind, invigorate your energy, cool your body temperature and clear your thought and sinuses! It is great in combination with meditation, yoga practice, or an addition to a morning ritual.
